Our friend and classmate WH and his twin brother have gone on an exciting family trip to Disneyland, USA and Europe.  Here are some photos of their trip so far!  They certainly look like they are having fun.

Reading response work

In Room 19 we love reading!  We work hard in our reading times. We are all working on different things to improve our reading and understanding, things like expression, fluency, working out new words, what the book is about, retelling stories, finding information.  When we have read with Mrs McIntosh, we have to do independent reading responses to show how well we understood our book.  Here are some photos of some of our awesome work.

We have been working hard on some fabulous train art - it is going to be made into 2013 calendars. Orders can be placed at the office.  They will make excellent Christmas presents for relatives!

Last week was Maths week.  We did lots of cool activities and had fun learning Maths!

A couple of weeks ago we had our special Father's Day breakfast.  We love it when our Dads come to school!  Here are some photos of our terrific Dads.
